YMCA Camp Gorham – More than a camp…a living spirit.
For over 50 years Camp Gorham has welcomed camper’s to the Adirondacks for overnight camp experiences. Thanks to the generosity of Jack and Irene Gorham, the YMCA of Greater Rochester acquired the camp in 1960 with the intention of opening a summer camp for boys. Family camp was added in 1963 and in 1976 YMCA Camp Gorham welcomed both girls and boys to camp. While the Camp itself is un-paralleled in terms of facility the magic that makes Camp happen comes from the campers that continue to build on our legacy from summer to summer.
Situated on 1500 acres in the West Central Adirondacks, Camp Gorham offers children and families the ideal location to unplug and connect. With a wide variety of activities and supportive, nurturing staff, Camp Gorham provides an environment where children can grow and explore, developing skills and independence surrounded by a community of friends that will last a lifetime.
Accreditation:
