At YMCA Camp Gorham we value diversity and welcome all.  Our Women’s Adventure Weekends welcome women from throughout the northeast each fall.  While the integrity of the event is important to Camp Gorham, men may be on site including male program, maintenance and kitchen staff as well as visitor’s from other programs running simultaneously.  Children of staff members who live on site will also be at the property.  Every effort is made to keep groups separated but the dining hall will be shared.  If you have questions about our Women’s Adventure Weekends, please contact Jackie Rudolph, Associate Executive Director or Kelsey Nobis, Camp Program Director  at 315-357-6401.

Our schedule is full of choices so there will be something for everyone to do!  Meals are served buffet style in our beautiful dining hall.

Guests stay in our cabins which feature all the charm of the Adirondacks – lakeside cabins have porches overlooking the lake, common rooms for gathering, guests may make roommate requests as well as cabin mate requests so your group can be housed together.  Our Wilderness Lakes Lodge may also be used.  Housing options will vary depending on overall enrollment numbers.  Groups that are not large enough to fill a cabin may share a cabin with other ladies – guests have private bedrooms and there is a shared bath in the cabin.  Sizes of cabins vary, please contact the camp office at 315-357-6401 with any questions or for additional information.  Please be sure to contact the office to provide a list of all ladies in your group so we can accommodate your cabin mate requests!  PLEASE NOTE:  your list of names does not reserve space; space in cabins is only held upon receipt of a registration.  Please contact the office (315-357-6401) with any questions.

Early arrival:

Ladies may opt to arrive on Thursday afternoon – checking in after 3 pm for an additional fee.  Campers arriving on Thursday will have access to kitchens in their cabin and may enjoy self guided activities on Friday.  Many ladies opt to arrive on Thursday and spend Friday enjoying the many activities available in the Big Moose, Old Forge and Inlet areas including great area shops, VIEW, our local art center, chair lift rides at McCauley Mountain and more!  Camp run activities begin on Friday after 3:00 pm with check in and open boating.  The first meal provided by Camp follows the opening reception.
